In 1980, Lou Schultz engaged Dr. W. Edwards Deming and Charles Bicking to help improve the performance of the company for which he was employed.  After three years of working with them and seeing the results, he formed Process Management to help other companies.  He and the firm worked closely with Deming and Bicking over the remaining years of their lives and continued to learn from them. 

Great satisfaction was derived from the success of their clients such as the U. S. Navy, Chevron, Wal-Mart, Jaguar, International Nickel Corporation, Manitoba Hydro, the University of Minnesota, Mayo Medical Systems, and many others both large and small.  In 1997, Process Management and Neuger Henry Bartkowski merged to form Bluefire Partners.  In 2002, Mr. Schultz retired but found he missed the satisfaction of helping clients and a year later acquired the rights to Strategy Management from Bluefire. 

Esteemed clients Immanuel St. Joseph’s/Mayo Medical Systems, the School of Dentistry at the University of Minnesota, and Midwest Wireless used this innovative strategic planning system to chart their future and the actions to get there.  Now in 2005, Strategy Management LLC was merged into Process Management LLC to form a full services firm helping clients improve their performance.
