Lou Schultz is the founder and Managing Director of Process Management LLC. The company’s mission is to assist organizations to achieve sustained, measurable performance improvement over decades. Mr. Schultz is recognized internationally as a leader in the field of quality improvement. He has helped numerous clients, including Zytec, Chevron, INCO, Jaguar, Manitoba Hydro, Tredegar (Ethyl), and Wal-Mart, to develop and nourish the exceptional performance, superior quality and extraordinary agility within their organizations that is necessary to thrive in today’s dynamic marketplace.
Mr. Schultz was a friend and follower of W. Edwards Deming, the world-renowned father of quality and namesake of the Deming Quality Award. In addition, Mr. Schultz is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences and has written and published numerous articles on modern management. He is author of Profiles in Quality: Learning from the Masters and co-author of the Quality Handbook for Small Business.
Mr. Schultz’s work history includes the following positions: Marketing ManagerBell & Howell; Director of MarketingCogar Corporation; and General ManagerControl Data Corporation. He founded Process Management International in 1984 and merged it with Bluefire Partners in 1997. He retired from there in 2002.
Mr. Schultz holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Nebraska and a master’s degree of business administration from Pepperdine University.
